Shannon Development owns 600 acres (240 Hectares) of land on the southern shore of the Shannon Estuary which was acquired for maritime related industry due to its proximity to deep water (typically in excess of 17 metres). Shannon Development also has a purchase option on a further adjoining100 acres (40 Hectares). The lands are zoned for industry.
